Bloomington Auto Parts - Hard Work Pays Off!

VET Environmental Engineering, LLC (VET) is proud to feature Bloomington Auto Parts (BAP), in Bloomington, Indiana. BAP is owned by Chuck Forney. We started working with BAP in early 2010. Chuck brought a menacing stack of papers to our first meeting – a suit filed by the Commissioner of the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) against BAP. To make a long story short, BAP was identified as a facility of concern during an aerial survey conducted by IDEM in 2004. The aerial survey identified auto salvage facilities for IDEM to inspect. These facilities were later given orders to correct any issues identified. BAP entered an Agreed Order with IDEM on September 3, 2008 to obtain proper storm water permitting and to properly dispose of large tire and debris piles on the outskirts of the 25-acre facility.
