Often a remediation project such as the removal of a leaking underground storage tank (LUST), clean-up of a spill of a contaminant, or removal of a source plume necessitates the requirement of waste disposal. Wastes generated in environmental investigations need to be characterized to determine what requirements are in place to safely and legally remove and either recycle or dispose of waste in specific waste disposal facilities. VET has the experience and knowledge of the full process of waste disposal including accurately identifying waste streams, characterizing the waste through analytical sampling, and facilitating the transportation and ultimate disposal or recycling of universal wastes, non-hazardous wastes, and hazardous wastes.
